About me

My name is Ben, and I'm an 18-year-old A-level student. I've always had an immense passion for teaching others about the things I love- guitar being the thing which I not only love, but I feel has shaped me as a person.

I started playing guitar in primary school, and was inspired by the excitement that the teachers made me feel during lessons. It took me quite a few years more of playing before I realised that I had the ability to give other people that same satisfaction from being genuinely good at an instrument... It's a sense of pride and accomplishment with every new song you learn, technique you master etc. I, personally, don't play solely for the purpose of earning grades- stopping after passing my first grade exam- but instead strive to get this satisfaction out of it.

As someone who has had multiple teachers in the past, I noticed that the most important factor in getting a person to play, and enjoy playing, is the teacher; a good teacher can bring out the talent you already have and show you how to use it. This is why I promise that, no matter what your age or musical preference, you will enjoy every step of learning to play guitar with me.

Thank you for considering me to be part of your journey to guitar mastery!
